Construction.

Il Nido was originally a small cottage, with a storehouse, stables and wine cellar, then a garage and workshop - and has now returned to being a cottage. It was built of local stone and retains the original beams and brick ceilings and terra cotta tiled roof. We have installed an open fireplace, central heating, double glazing, water and 220 v electricity. The buildings at Podere valle Pulcini date from the 14th to the 20th century.
