Off-season charges are the same but we charge €12 per day for the use of the gas fired central heating in winter. The firewood for the open fire is free. Gas for hot water and cooking and electricity is included in the standard rental.
There is a discount of 10% on bookings made before 31st January 2010. We do NOT provide last minute offers.
The rate for olive experience clilents is € 120 per day plus € 25 for lunch per person including wine and olive oil. This is in addition to accommodation in Il Nido.

Minimum rental period is three days. We do not operate a "change over day" policy. Change overs do not have to be on a Saturday.
A deposit is required to confirm reservations. The deposit is half of the full charge for the reserved period. The refund policy is shown in the booking form.
A copy of the rental contract can be sent by email or fax.
Clients should read this before paying the deposit.
Payment of the deposit can be made with a personal cheque drawn on an Australian, New Zealand, U.K. German or Italian bank in the local currency at the exchange rate for Euro at the time. Personal cheques can only be used for deposits made more than one month in advance.
Alternatively the deposit can be made by international money transfer (Swift) to our account.
On arrival the balance of the charge is to be paid in Euro.
The charge for central heating is paid according to use at the time.
WE DO NOT HAVE FACILITIES TO HANDLE CREDIT CARDS. CREDIT CARDS CANNOT BE USED TO PAY THE BALANCE OF THE ACCOMMODATION CHARGES.
We recommend that guests use their own mobile phones but a charge will be made for use of our fixed line and each email received and sent will cost € 2.

Toilet paper, washing detergent, washing up liquid and other cleaning materials.
Charcoal for barbecue and firewood
So you do not have to worry about shopping on your way to Il Nido on the first day we provide a start up a simple pack for breakfast consisting of milk, bread, cereals fruit, butter and jam.

Confirmation of a booking by sending your deposit shall be taken as acceptance of the following conditions.
1 Booking.
A provisional reservation can be made by telephone or email but it is not binding until the deposit is received.
A deposit of 50% of the total rental payable for your booking period must be made on booking.
The final balance in Euros must be paid on arrival.
Deposit may be made by cheque or bank transfer.
Cheques on UK, Australian, New Zealand and Italian banks are accepted.
We cannot accept Credit Cards.
2. Cancellation.
50% of the deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled two months before the booked period.
25% of the deposit is refundable if the booking is cancelled one month before the booked period.
There is no refund if the cancellation is less than one month before the booked period.
The owners reserve the right to terminate your stay at Il Nido if you, or any member of your party, are believed to be causing a nuisance or are not treating the property with due respect.
3 If Il Nido is not fit for rental at any period.
If for any reason beyond the owners' control (for example fire damage) the property is not available on the date booked or Il Nido is not fit for letting, all rent, deposit and other charges paid in advance by the applicant will be refunded in full but the applicant shall have no further claim against the owners.
4. Insurance
It is a condition of booking that all of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance including personal public liability and cancellations or curtailment cover and personal property.
5. Arrival and departure times.
These can be arranged by mutual agreement but usually guests should plan to arrive in the afternoon and leave by 11.00 a.m on day of departure. Where train or airline schedules make this difficult we should be informed in advance and we will vary this schedule accordingly.
You are required to leave Il Nido in a clean and tidy condition. Please let the owners know of any breakages before departure.
6. Number of persons.
The number of guests staying in Il Nido must not exceed 4 in total. The owners must be informed if guests other than those listed on the booking form desire to stay - up to the maximum of four, see above. No camping is permitted on the grounds of the property. Pets are not accepted.
7. Water and electricity
Water, electricity and gas shortages or breakdowns, whilst rare, can occur. We do not accept responsibility for the breakdown of supply of water, gas or electricity though we will in all instances use our best endeavours to arrange for any such problems to be resolved without undue delay. The rent for Il Nido includes the cost of electricity, water and gas for the period from 1st May to 30th October. During the remaining winter period there is a charge of €15 per week for central heating.
8. Cleaning.
The property will be cleaned and fresh linen and bath towels provided at the beginning of the rental period. The property will be cleaned and linen changed on a weekly basis for rentals longer than one week. Additional cleaning can be arranged provided it is booked some weeks in advance of the rental period. Payment for extra cleaning and linen over and above the weekly service is the responsibiity of the guest.
The owners reserve the right to enter Il Nido during your stay.
9. Vehicle access.
Vehicles can park in front of Il Nido to load and unload luggage. At other times guests are asked to use designated parking at the rear of the property.
10. Valuables.
All guest property should be insured and is left at your own risk. Brian and Lynne Chatterton are not responsible to you or any other member of your party for any loss or damage to your property however caused. We advise guests to lock doors and windows when going out. Although theft is very rare in our neighborhood it is best to be cautious.
11. No smoking
Smoking is forbidden inside Il Nido. During the summer guests wishing to smoke outside are requested dispose of their matches and butts with care in order to prevent grass fires.
