| Il Nido is a holiday cottage and part of our Podere in Valle Pulcini. We are surrounded by the quiet and peaceful Italian countryside, and there are no noisy motorways or railways sidings hidden behind the hill. Our guests come here to relax, to walk, to paint, to listen to music and read. Some are relieved to be able to catch their breath during European tours centred on busy, expensive cities. Here they breathe fresh air, gaze at mountains and discover the joys of little Italian villages and the delights of meeting country people and seeing how they live. We introduce them to local food, our own olive oil, the wine of our friends, and the local knowledge that gives their stay with us its special pleasure. In the photo above guests enjoy the terrace of Il Nido and below is the medieval tower of Castel di Fiori - the little borgo to which we belong. |
