The pool
The swimming pool is a new addition built in 2010. It is our private pool but we do share it with guests so it is never crowded. It is small (10 m X 4m) and if your aim is to spend a couple of weeks in Italy poolside then I am sure you will find many holiday cottages with bigger and more glamorous pools. It is however refreshing to have a morning or evening dip.

The pool is normally open from about mid May until October.
The pool was built in 2010 and is situated just below the house and Il nido. It is 10 m by 4 m and 1.40 m deep. It is a salt pool with electrolysis so there is a constant but very low level of chlorine and no chlorine smell. This was taken in May 2010 and the lanscaping has since been completed but we are waiting for the leaves on the forest for the next photo.
This is a more recent photo (May 2011) but we still have not resolved the pergola problem. The planting has established well.
